Main Duties & Responsibilities

Summary
Sets up and assembles various aerospace parts. Works from blueprints, sketches,
planning sheets, verbal instructions, and/or engineering, tooling, or equipment
information. Contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and
reduce costs. Works independently with minimum guidance in a team environment.

This is a 2nd shift position from 2:30pm - 11:00pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint
specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and
materials.
Assembles components per blueprint, work instructions, or specifications as
required
Install, heil-coil inserts, Lee plugs, restrictors, etc.
Verifies completed component by measuring to work instruction, specification,
or blueprint tolerances
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures,
rules, and regulations.
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
Mark parts as required per work instruction or blueprint requirements (ink
stamp, vibro-peen, electro-etch)

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to walk,
stand, and sit for extended periods of time. The team member is required to
demonstrate manual dexterity and use hands to operate machinery. Specific
vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Also expected of
the team member is regular attendance, and the ability to work cooperatively
and professionally with others. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

and read blueprints
Proficient
with hand tools and mechanical inspection tools
Attention to detail

Focus
Ability to setup and use hand tools ie: heli-coil gun, electro-etch, arbor
press
Ability
to part mark legibly with vibro-peen, ink stamp etc.
