UNCOVER THE INS AND OUTS OF THIS ROLE:

As an integral part of The Treetop Therapy family, your role as a Registered Behavior Technician - RBT involves implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting and recording data on individual progress, conducting functional assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. In a 1:1 learning environment directly in the child's home, you'll establish competent learner skills to prepare children for effective functioning in both home and community-based settings under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Equipped with the necessary tools, stimuli, and support, you'll encourage skills acquisition, behavior modification, and positive reinforcement, making each day a step forward in the journey toward personal and collective success.

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN - RBT:

Your commitment will be met with a part time schedule in Massachusetts, catering to the unique needs of our clients aged 3-22. This position involves working in a non-traditional ABA setting, including in-home and community environments, with required hours between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Additionally, there is potential for more hours in the future.

  • High school or equivalent
  • 1 year of ABA therapy, paraprofessional, childcare, teaching, special needs, or other relative experience with children
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs or disabilities
  • Ability to obtain a CPR/BLS certificate
  • Effective written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • This role requires the ability to bend, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Candidates should be prepared to work on their feet for extended periods and may occasionally need to work on the floor.
  • You will have to move quickly at times to ensure clients are safe

Having your RBT license is preferred but not required!
