Job Description
The Program Manager manages and drives corporate-specific initiatives within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO). This role is responsible for enforcing the guidelines and standards set by the EPMO, providing structure and accountability within their assigned portfolio of projects, anticipating, and resolving risks, leading organizational change management, and driving alignment and transparency across his/her assigned initiatives to ensure they are delivered on time/budget and meet or exceed business expectations. This role is also tasked with managing other EPMO project managers within the scope of the program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day relationships with Project Sponsors,Leads, and Managers in in support of executing and governing the project life cycle. This includes supporting the preparation and maintenance of plans, schedules, resource requests, key performance indicator tracking (KPIs), and other inputs to the EPMO process for their assigned initiatives.
Lead the development of project business case and charter, support financial analysis of project metrics and track post-implementation performance to identified KPIs.
Develop, update, and share a comprehensive forward-looking view of the program and each project within the program - highlighting key risks related to budget, timing, and resources.
Facilitate risk management and keep Project Sponsors and Project Leads informed of these risks and challenges.
Work with business project leads to monitor project progress and take corrective action to resolve risk and challenges.
Employ enterprise change management practices to ensure user adoption and smooth transition of projects from EPMO oversight to business ownership.
Escalate issues to the Strategy leadership, Steering Committee or appropriate governing body.
Calculate and track program benefits, both financial and strategic and provide regular updates to Strategy leadership.
Deploy EPMO processes, tools, and methodologies to provide structure and consistency in the reporting and management of corporate initiatives to these standards.
Contribute to developing and continuously improving on the processes by which the EPMO identifies project scope, evaluates, resources, governs and closes enterprise initiatives.
Participate in EPMO team activities including Continuous Improvement work.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

PMP Certification
Software Skills Required
Intermediate to Advanced: MS Project/Project Web App, Presentation/PowerPoint, MS Teams, SharePoint, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing, Other
Expertise with project management tools like Sensei Beacon or software packages a plus
Qualifications
Experience working in enterprise, complex, cross collaborative projects, managing diverse teams with business and technology components.
Strategic thinker who is a strong collaborator and has strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, including written, verbal, presentation and facilitation skills.
