We are looking for a Business Development Operations Analyst to join our Energy, Infrastructure, and Automation business area to support our growth efforts. The BD Operations Analyst is responsible for accuracy, interpretation, and reporting of BD data to help the achievement of BD metrics.
This position is fully remote, but must be local to the Reston, VA area and able to commute into the office when needed.

Pay Range: Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00

We are looking for a Business Development Operations Analyst to join our Energy, Infrastructure, and Automation business area to support our growth efforts. The BD Operations Analyst is responsible for accuracy, interpretation, and reporting of BD data to help the achievement of BD metrics.
This position is fully remote, but must be local to the Reston, VA area and able to commute into the office when needed.
Responsibilities
- The Analyst also manages action items for both recurring and ad hoc tasks in support of day-to-day BD operations
- Tasks includes ensuring BD data accuracy in Salesforce and WinIt, reconciliations with contracts and finance, facilitation of monthly Sector pipeline reviews, support to the execution of reviews and approvals for the Gate Review Process, Closest-to-the-Pin updates, tracking of wins and losses, liaison and coordination with the operations of New Business Funds budgets and details, consolidation and dissemination of weekly 5x15 reports.
- The BD Operations Analyst will work collaboratively across the Energy Infrastructure and Automation Business Area and across the company to ensure success, as well as build relationships with counterparts in Growth and Strategy from other Sectors and other functions
- The candidate will ensure BD actions are tracked and responded to, and provide ad-hoc and routine support to the Senior Vice President and Vice President of Growth and operations, Business Area line and staff, and Business Area managers with all activities related to growth and strategy
- In this role, you are expected to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, handle multiple simultaneous tasks, and proactively identify gaps and areas for improvement for the BD operations overall
- Participate in all business development planning activities, scheduling and facilitating BD presentations, to include pipeline reviews, gate reviews, weekly and monthly BD reporting
- Monitor the Business Area pipeline, submits and awards
- Produce weekly reports used for tracking by the Commercial and International Sector leadership
- Track opportunity data accuracy to ensure exceptions are resolved quickly and coordinate with the EIA users for their resolution of any exceptions prior to period close
- Ensure all growth-related actions are tracked and coordinated with appropriate owners for closure
- Implement and maintain data in the Salesforce and WinIt CRM tool and encourage maximum use of the tool within EIA, such as development of dashboards, views, reports, etc
- Manage the 5x15 Business Area Report
- Collect inputs from the Business Area division managers to develop the weekly EIA report and disseminate the report on a weekly basis
- Gather Closest to the Pin (CTTP) inputs to develop a Business Area CTTP for awards and submits
- Participate in working groups related to Growth process and tools and related improvements
Qualifications
- Sense of urgency, ability to anticipate needs, and strong communication skills a must!
- Local to the Reston, VA area and able to come into the office when needed.
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience
- Proven track record of successful business development operations and/or pipeline support
- Ability to use automated tools such as Microsoft Office to present ideas, information, and reports as well as Salesforce and WinIt experience to track opportunities and manage pipeline
- Multi-tasking abilities and comprehension of how to prioritize tasks
- Communications skills to develop, organize, facilitate, coordinate and execute actions across the Sector related to all BD and Strategy
