Action Officer Project Manager

SMX is seeking an Action Officer Project Manager to provide management and professional support, assistance, advice, to support the efficient and effective management and operation of the organization, activities, or systems.

This position requires a DoD TS with SCI eligibility clearance which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain executive-level briefings (1 Star or above) for CDMM engagements
  • Create/facilitate closure of Enterprise Task Management Software Solutions (ETMS2) responses for executive-level audience approval
  • Create, edit, and prepare for signature executive-level correspondence on behalf of the CDMM Director
  • Support the execution of mission tasks by developing and maintaining project management plans and schedules for the organization
  • Develop strategies to address potential solutions to complex problems
  • Develop and document requirements from project inception to conclusion
  • Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff
  • Provide detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization, and/or maintenance efforts for specified mission-critical challenges/issues
  • Support establishment of goals and plans that meet project objectives, define studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions or courses of action to implement program decisions
  • Assist with defense and intelligence enterprise activities to address unconventional challenges by developing complementary public/private cooperation ideas
  • Aid in crafting communication strategies, roadmaps, and governance documents
  • Coordinates cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measuring activities
  • Participates in project performance review meetings and discussions
  • Support a cross-functional team with financial management and administrative support
  • Develop white papers on various topics to support the directorate's initiatives, as requested

Required Skills & Experience
  • TS clearance, SCI eligible
  • Strong IT experience, particularly cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, and/or data management
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Software, specifically PowerPoint
  • Versant in Information Technology (cloud, cybersecurity, networking, etc.)
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing and demanding environment
  • Detail oriented and flexible
  • Versant in Information Technology (cloud, cybersecurity, networking, etc.)

Desired Skills & Experience
  • TS/SCI
  • Advanced degree
  • Experience working with general officers, flag officers, senior executive service members
  • Familiarity with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution PPB&E
  • PMP
  • Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Air Force specific professional experience

The proposed salary for this position is:

$124,800-$208,000 USD
