What You'll Do
As an Associate HR Business Partner with The Fedcap Group, you'll have the unique opportunity to work closely with experienced HR professionals, gain hands-on experience as part of a growing HR Team, and enhance your strategic HR knowledge and experience. You'll focus on projects related to our talent management strategy and other HR initiatives and provide counsel to our business unit clients, including addressing employee relations matters. Compensation
$85,000-$105,000

What You'll Do

Who You'll Work With
- You'll report to the Vice President, HR Business Partners.
- You'll support and coordinate with HR Business Partners.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Developing effective working relationships and supporting the development and delivery of talent objectives for assigned business areas.
- Supporting the HRBP Team in coordinating policies and programs that are in alignment with our strategic direction and providing project management support for the HRBP Team as well as business units on specific talent initiatives and roll-outs.
- Identifying and providing advice to resolve people issues, including investigation of employee issues as well as recommendation and facilitation of appropriate action.
- Creating/reviewing job descriptions and evaluating against the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) classifications (Exempt or Non-Exempt) to determine the appropriate classification and job status.
- Conducting exit interviews with staff who resign and analyzing data for patterns and or areas that should be addressed by senior management.
- Keeping abreast of Federal, State, and local regulations regarding human resources issues.
You're a great fit for this role if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Relevant Human Resources experience, ideally 3-5 years, and a desire to pursue a career as an HR professional.
- Proven project management experience, with proficiency in project management software a plus.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply relevant HR policies, practices, procedures, and government regulations.
- Ability to interface professionally and effectively with leadership as well as employees at all levels within Fedcap.
- Strong presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, collaborative orientation, customer service focus, empathy, and discretion.
- Flexibility to pivot with changing priorities and embrace change.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with experience utilizing HCM Oracle a strong plus.
- Employee relations experience preferred (but not required).
