Responsibilities Assembler I Position Summary Perform assembly and packaging of components into products for the medical industry. This position will be based out of our facility located in west Bloomington, Minnesota (55438). Assembler I Duties and Responsibilities Inspect, assemble, and package medical devices and components Use tray, band, and impulse sealers Work with chemicals (Isopropyl Alcohol, solvents, detergents, etc.) as needed to clean work areaand components. Ensure products are handled and assembled per Quality Tech Services' Quality Systems Procedure(s) Adhere to cGMP and ISO regulations Competent on all tray, band and impulse sealers Responsible for maintaining an awareness of workplace safety and OSHA regulations and relevant training Responsible for proper documentation necessary to complete job Assist with weekly cleaning of production area(s) and cleaning of common areas Other duties as assigned Qualifications Assembler I Requirements/Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Able to work required 2nd shift hours: Monday-Thursday 2:45pm-1:15am CT Able to work overtime as needed (on Fridays or at least one weekend day) Able to read, speak and understand English. Strong attention to detail. Good hand-eye coordination. Able to work in a clean room environment, including working with chemicals as needed to clean work areas and components (Isopropyl Alcohol, solvents, detergents, etc.). Able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Assembler I Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Able to work overtime as needed (staying later during the week days or at least one weekend day) Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Assembly, clean room or manufacturing experience. Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing Methodologies. Previous work experience in a clean room environment. Knowledge or training pertaining to cGMP and ISO regulations. Clean room practices, including gowning.
