Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) is seeking a Family Medicine physician to provide locum coverage in Shiprock, New Mexico starting mid-July through the end of 2018. The need is for full-time 40 hours per week; however, they can accommodate providers with at least 1-2 weeks per month of availability. Coverage Needs : Regular/Overtime Hours: Monday Friday 8AM to 5PM with 1-hour lunch; Weeknight On-Call Hours are Monday Friday 5PM to 8AM; Weekend/Holiday On-Call is Friday Monday 5PM to 8AM Patient Volume : 2-3 patients per hour depending on acuity with the opportunity of seeing all ages of patients. Requirements of Candidates : Board Certified or Board Eligible (if within 5 years of post-graduate training) in Family Practice; ANY active and unrestricted state medical license; active/unrestricted Federal DEA; current BLS certification. MDA will provide travel and lodging accommodations along with A malpractice insurance. You will be compensated via direct deposit on a weekly basis.
