Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification * Lead and manage the Emergency Services nursing team, offering guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance and professional development. * Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care in the Emergency Services department. * Oversee patient care activities, including triage, assessment, treatment, and discharge, ensuring timely and effective care delivery. * Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care in the emergency setting. * Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and department performance, implementing improvements to enhance patient safety and satisfaction. Candidate requirements * A bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field is preferred. * A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in acute care ER is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a track record of progressive leadership roles. * National Specialty Certification or plan to achieve within 1 year of hire. * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required.
