Anesthesiology Physician

Wonderful Anesthesiology opportunity in Kenansville, North Carolina starting December 23rd and has an ongoing need. Does this sound like something you'd be interested in, let me know either way! * Dates: December 23-31, Ongoing need * Schedule: Monday through Friday with call beginning at 1500, Schedule is 7 days on followed by 7 days off * 27,000 patients per year * Inpatient census: 34 patients per day * Average # of admissions per day 7-10 during the day/ 4 during the night * 24hr call only on the weekend; shared with the CRNA. * 81 hospital beds * 15 ED beds * # of surgical cases per month: approximately 175 * Bread and butter surgical cases: General Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics, /OB-Gyn, Optometry, and Pediatric Dental, Endoscopy (pediatrics > age 2) * LT will not be expected to serve as backup in ER * Must be able to provide anesthesia independently * Certifications: BC, BLS, ACLS, PALS/APLS (American Heart Association) (AHA) * 6-8 week credentialing
