Hematology/Oncology Physician

Location: East Iowa, Located 50 minutes from the Quad Cities, an hour from Dubuque, just under 3 hours from Chicago, 1.5 hours from Cedar Rapids and 3 hours from Des Moines Facility: * A faith-based, full-service community health system serving residents in eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois. * Provides a broad range of services to meet the health care needs of residents in the bi-state area. * Operates 163 licensed beds Opportunity: * April 22-26 * April 29 - May 3 * Ongoing dates TBD * No weekends, no call! * 100% Outpatient coverage, addressing critical labs (hospitalists manage inpatients) * Patient population; adult and geriatric * 70% oncology, 30% hematology, 0% IM * 20 patients per day * Trauma level 3 * EMR: Cerner (Epic FY24) * Required procedures: management of VAD/CV catheters, order tests, order images, prescribe meds * Administration of chemotherapy: nurse oncologist; Admission of patients: Hospitalists Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
