Sanmina Corporation has facilities strategically located in key regions throughout the world.Nature of Duties/ResponsibilitiesOversee global revenue policy compliance and provide practical direction to the Accounting organization in the areas of revenue recognitionDevelop, document, and maintain global revenue recognition policies, procedures, and controls ensuring consistent implementationEstablish monitoring processes to ensure policy compliance and effectiveness of revenue controlsLead the implementation process and activities on all cross-functional deals for Finance teams from initial development of appropriate revenue accounting treatment providing a clear roadmap for ongoing ownership to complete the implementationAct as a business partner to Commercial Sales, including providing options and recommendations for deal structure and contract language to enable revenue growth while ensuring accounting complianceEnsure compliance with accounting standards, provide technical accounting guidance, and support the company’s financial reporting processResearch technical accounting topics and author technical accounting memos for complex or non-routine transactionsReview quarterly ASC 718 share-based compensation entries and rollforwardResponsible for calculation of Earnings Per Share (EPS)Lead M&A finance due diligence efforts, including planning, review, reporting, and integrationMaintain internal controls and evaluate actions required for compliance with the company's revenue accounting processesBuild organizational competency in revenue and technical accounting concepts through training, coaching, and process monitoringLead implementation of new accounting policies worldwide, as well as new accounting pronouncements, in collaboration with Regional Controllers to drive team and organizational successDrive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting operations in area of responsibilityHelp Finance organization with ad hoc projects on an as needed basisEducation and Experience15+ years accounting experience with a combination of Big 4 and industry experienceCPA or equivalentStrong, in-depth knowledge of ASC 606 rules and US GAAP accounting rulesOperational experience with revenue recognition ideally in a manufacturing organizationAbility to think outside the box, comfortable with ambiguity and provide suggestions and guidance Ability to communicate highly technical perspectives to individuals with varying degrees of experience in the subject matter, ranging from sales personnel and certain other customer-facing individuals to other finance personnel and executive managementExperience in leading a various revenue system implementationSanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer – M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender IdentitySalary Range(annual) : $170,000 - $210,000In addition, Sanmina Provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
