Opportunity Overview:
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for supporting the CEO and members of our Executive Leadership team in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to handle complex and sensitive situations with professionalism and adept at managing a wide range of administrative tasks.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.

What you will do:
- Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO and other C-Suite leaders, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and handling correspondence.
- Meeting Coordination: Plan, coordinate and execute on logistics for on-site events across all teams at Cohere, including board meetings, team retreats, and other gatherings
- Travel Planning: Make and manage complex travel arrangements, itineraries and agendas that may change on short notice
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when managing business-critical information.
- Office Management: Serve as back-up office coverage as needed (expected 3-5 days monthly)
Your background & requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of executive assistant experience supporting C-level executives in startup or high-growth environments
- Experience in a technology or healthcare technology organization, a plus
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proven ability to handle competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with senior executives, employees, clients, and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be highly organized, flexible, and detail-oriented
- Able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions
- Proficient with Google Suite, Slack, or other related software
- Ability to be in the Boston office 1-2 times per week (as needed)
- Limited travel required, 5-10%
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
