Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing technical requirements of todays and tomorrow’s power grid!The Siemens Electrification & Automation’s Industry and Infrastructure Systems & Solutions segment has an immediate need for a Director of Sales Operations and Strategic Programs. The Director of Sales Operations will drive operational efficiency, scale processes, and leverage data to enhance customer satisfaction. This role requires critical thinking and collaboration with sales leadership to achieve growth objectives.The product portfolio includes but is not limited to medium voltage switchgear (AIS & GIS), low and medium voltage control centers, power equipment centers, distribution transformers, and ancillary MV and LV products that are routinely part of complete electrical packaged solutions for end users in the target vertical markets.You will make in impact with the following duties:Strategic Leadership - Develop and implement a strategic vision for I&I segment success with the broader goals of the Division and Company in mind.Process Optimization - Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes to enable growth and conversion activity at customers and prospects. Identify and address inefficiencies to enhance team productivity and customer satisfaction.Data-Driven Insights - Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide strategic insights to senior leadership and the support functions to drive decision-making.Technology Management – Collaborate with peers to ensure that technology solutions support the team's goals and improve operational efficiency.Cross-Functional Collaboration - Serve as a key liaison between functional support teams. Ensure alignment on customer goals and facilitate seamless collaboration across the organization.Customer Feedback & Insights - Oversee the collection and analysis of customer feedback. Lead efforts to implement improvements based on insights gained, driving customer satisfaction and retention.Operational Forecasting & Planning – Partner with I&I segment management and Sales Teams in the development of forecasting and capacity planning to ensure the team is appropriately resourced to meet customer needs.Customer Segmentation Strategy - Develop and implement customer segmentation strategies, tailoring approaches to different customer groups to enhance their success and satisfaction.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Information Technology.10+ years of experience with the following:Sales operations, strategic programs, or data analytics with a focus on channel management, EDI, and POS data.Working with incentive plans, sales channels, sales quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Building dashboards, interpreting data, delivering executive presentations, and working with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems, such as Salesforce and SAP.Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications:Data and Analytics:Experience in data analytics, sales operations, and strategic programs, with a focus on joint application development, marketing analytics, customer segmentation, and customer feedback analysis.Operations and Strategy:Proven experience writing business plans, leading critical initiatives, operational forecasting, capacity planning, process optimization, and driving operational efficiency.People and Collaboration:Demonstrated success in managing third-party rep networks, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.You’ll benefit from:Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
