We do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world.DescriptionAs a Retail Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will successfully drive the execution and strategy of consumable supplies for Apple Retail stores worldwide. You will join a passionate team of professionals who are driven to ensure the creation and implementation of supply chain efficiencies that contribute to the Apple Retail experience.
You will work independently and as part of a larger, cross-functional team and effectively interact with, and influence all levels within the organization.
We manage our vendors to ensure all store teams globally have everything required to deliver the best in class customer journey Apple Retail stores are renowned for.
Own commercial and contractual relationships with Retail Supply product and service providers
Vendor management, including direct sourcing, logistics, pricing and strategic business reviews
Develop supply kitting strategy for new store openings, relocations and new country expansions
Product lifecycle management from launch to end-of-life disposition
Analyze current processes and procedures to continually seek new efficiencies, innovation and cost savings
Lead strategic projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Drive and influence operational strategy across worldwide retail locations, and develop positive relationships with store and field teams
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree or 2 + years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Project Management, Planning or Apple Retail storesProactive and detail oriented approach to problem solving with outstanding time management skillsAdvanced Excel skills and experience in building sophisticated models with multiple inputsProven track record of leading multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, ambiguous and goal-oriented environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsSubstantial vendor management and negotiation experienceAbility to navigate the organization and work cross-functionallyStrong presentation and facilitation skillsStrong data analysis skills with the ability to translate results into actionable projects, and supply and demand requirementsAbility to develop peer relationships quicklyPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $122,300 and $184,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
