Our AMXL Middle Mile & 3P Finance team closely partners across Operations and Program teams to support a rapidly expanding business while building a connected network of fulfillment and sort centers, delivery stations, vans, box trucks, and technology to deliver customers' packages on time - often next day, sometimes faster. The AMXL Middle Mile & 3P Finance team seeks a Finance Manager to partner with AMXL and partner Operations Teams to drive an agenda of optimization, efficiency and insights for Heavy Bulky product traveling throughout the 3P transportation network. This is a unique opportunity to partner with stakeholders across multiple teams and organizations, driving cost optimization and broader network efficiency ideas through insights. A day in the life The successful candidate will demonstrate the following: They influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly-evolving environment. They prioritize the most impactful projects and programs that will drive AMXL forward. A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to innovate through creative solutions with large-scale data mining tools, identifying high-priority work and projects that maximize results for key stakeholders, and solving complex problems that effect company-wide strategic decisions. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience Preferred Qualifications MBA in Finance/General Management 3+ years' relevant experience in positions partnering retail sales, operations, engineering and/or science teams as finance partner. Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions and demonstrated experience managing such mechanisms to an end result. Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital. Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and senior levels of management. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
