Responsible for direct patient care by reviewing the patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Provide immediate decision-making and action necessary to prevent death or any further disability both in the prehospital setting by directing emergency medical technicians and in the emergency department. Provides immediate recognition, evaluation, care, stabilization, and disposition of a generally diversified population of adult and pediatric patients in response to acute illness and injury.Key Position Details:
A team of six ED physicians
Strong support (full-time hospitalist coverage, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, podiatry, pediatrics, psychiatry,etc.)?
24/7 Access to system Service Lines (mental health, cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, etc.)
9K visits annually
11 bed ED
Experienced team of CRNAs, nurses, and employed EMS
Level IV Trauma Center, Stroke Ready
Easy transfers to an affiliated tertiary care hospital network
Position Highlights:
Epic with dragon dictation
12-hour shifts, average 12 per month, flexible scheduling
Express Care Clinic is open daily and staffed by clinic physicians and APPs
Relocation and signing bonus eligibility
Hospital employed model
Straight hourly rate with 1.5x holiday pay
5% Annual Performance Incentive Bonus

Job Description:
MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training is required.
Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited residency training program in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine Experience
Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable
ACLS/BLS - required within 180 days of hire
ATLS or CALS
PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support - Multisource required

Pay Range
Pay Range: $336,491 to $420,611 per yearThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).Benefit Summary
