Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon Physician Locum Tenens Job in Kentucky HIGH Pay and Ongoing Starts February 2025

This is a great opportunity for a cardiothoracic surgeon to join a locum tenens assignment in Kentucky.

Job Requirements for Assignment :
Start February 3, 2025 and ongoing
Shifts available: 7am-7am (24 hour call)
Privileges available: full privileges
Geographic restriction: No geographic restrictions
Board Certified
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, ACLS, PALS
Required Experience: Prefer Heart and Lung with Vascular to complete practice needs, but Heart and Lungs preferred
Beds: 383
Hospital census stays between 25-40 patients on a regular basis. Has gone up to 50 patients at time. Usually have 2-4 surgeries per MD on the OR schedule each day of the week. We have 6 Physician Assistants who first assist in surgery, take call every day same hours as the MD on call, PAs and APRNs make hospital rounds, see consults, while we have 3 other APRNs in the office seeing pts. Monday through Thursday each week. Call is for 24 hours per day so the Monday-Thursday call is 7am to 7am next day, weekend call starts at 7 AM each Friday and ends at 7 AM each Monday morning.
