Controller Accounting

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Provide month-end closeout for each company
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Oversee the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and goals.
• Manage and comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Obtain competitive rates and manage insurance policies
• Involvement with Payroll Management
• Oversees item costing spreadsheet and helps to develop costs for new items

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• years of experience in accounting or finance, with 10 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
