Indiana University Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Child & Adult Autism Psychologist to join our growing team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position will provide specialized psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment for adults and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients with autism.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments including diagnostic evaluations, cognitive testing, and functional assessments for adults and children with autism.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and occupational therapists to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with clinical and legal standards
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with advancements in autism research and treatments
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Clinical Psychology
- Strong knowledge of clinical experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders for both children and adults
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
