Leidos Dig Mod Health IT division is seeking a NOC Manager for a large network services opportunity supporting the Health Agency in Montgomery County, MD.
The NOC Manager leads an operations team responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, troubleshooting, and maintenance for several enterprise networks supporting the Agency. Supported networks include the enterprise backbone network, data center networks, campus-wide wireless networks, and a large facilities network. The NOC manager prioritizes and assigns tasks for network incidents, change requests, and physical network maintenance for the operations team. The manager also is responsible to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Pay Range: Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00

The manager also is responsible to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support to the health agency in MD.
- Lead network operations team, provide technical guidance, assign tasks, and monitor team performance.
- Ensure 24x7x365 support to restore service within established incident response SLAs for service interruptions or other critical problems.
- Manage routine and ad hoc change management in accordance with service request SLAs.
- Maintain knowledge repository of operational information/documentation (e.g., standard operating procedures, network topologies, rack elevation drawings, physical network location and access details, customer details, and network inventory details).
- Ensure customer visibility into network operations through dashboards and reporting.
- Guide continuous process improvement efforts for network operations.
- Track inventory and licenses needed for network projects and operational spares.
- Collaborate with architecture and security teams to support network initiatives and identify operational requirements.
- Manage and set priorities for the monitoring and maintenance of network systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, wireless.
- Ensure operation and optimization of the Agency standard monitoring tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related discipline or 12-16 year equivalent related experience managing network operations.
- Three (3) years of experience working as a network operations manager for a large enterprise.
- Five (5) years of experience configuring and operating Cisco switches and routers.
- Three (3) years of experience working in a government environment requiring coordination with multiple organizations and other contractors.
- Experience with configuring and administering enterprise network monitoring tools.
- Domain expertise with network security and compliance documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly preferred CISSP, CCIE, CCNP certifications.
- Highley preferred 3 years of experience using ServiceNow for IT service management.
- Operational experience with environments employing cloud or software-defined networking
- Operational experience using ScienceLogic SL1
- Demonstrated experience implementing successful continuous process improvement within an IT infrastructure environment
