Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking to hire a highly motivated, ambitious, Transportation Engineer. The position will offer the opportunity to work on small and large roadway, trail, and transit projects, in urban and rural settings, located in Maryland as well as other areas of the Mid-Atlantic region. Work Location can be Laurel or Baltimore, Maryland.

Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking to hire a highly motivated, ambitious, Transportation Engineer. The position will offer the opportunity to work on small and large roadway, trail, and transit projects, in urban and rural settings, located in Maryland as well as other areas of the Mid-Atlantic region. Work Location can be Laurel or Baltimore, Maryland.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform Roadway, Highway and Trail geometric design
- Model projects in MicroStation using the latest software
- Prepare construction documents and cost estimates
- Perform field work to collect data or observe projects under construction
- Work with a collaborative group of Stantec experts to meet client expectations
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in Transportation Engineering
- Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer / Microstation
- Experience with legacy products such as Geopak and InRoads preferred but not required
- Knowledgeable of AASHTO design manuals and guides
- Experience designing pedestrian and/or bike facilities
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering
- Professional Engineer's License
