Release/Configuration Engineer

Role: Release/Configuration Engineer
Duration: Direct Hire / FTE
Location: Milpitas, CA 95035 (Onsite)
Salary - Market/Flexible

We are hiring a Release/Configuration Engineer to work as a part of team to help build infrastructure and processes for unattended Remote upgrades of Windows OS on IoT devices. Work conditions - Corporate office/lab environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Proficient in developing and managing installation packages using tools such as InstallShield
• In-depth understanding of Windows OS, including installation, configuration and OS imaging
• Experience installing Windows OS using automated means such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Task Sequence, SCCM
• Strong ability to automate tasks using PowerShell scripting
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts, DHCP, DNS, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues
• Experience managing VM environments using platforms such as VMWare and Hyper-V
• Experience authoring detailed technical documentation for Support Engineers
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / IS or relevant experience
