Position Summary:

The Human Resources Manager leads and optimizes the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the organization. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
  • Employee relations
  • Performance management
  • Organizational Development
  • Employment compliance and regulatory adherence
  • Compensation and benefits administration
  • Employee safety, wellness, and health
  • Employee services and counseling
  • Recruiting and staffing

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, ensuring a harmonious work environment. Address and resolve complex employee grievances.
  • Performance Management: Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine performance management systems, incorporating data analytics for informed decision-making.
  • Organization Development: Drive initiatives that foster a positive work culture, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Processes: Ensure adherence to state and federal labor laws, staying updated with legislative changes. Act as a Compliance Officer for harassment and discrimination complaints.
  • Employee Safety and Wellness: Promote a safe workplace, incorporating wellness programs and mental health support.
  • Employee Services and Counseling: Provide counseling and support services, focusing on employee well-being and professional development.
  • HR Department Management: Lead the HR team, setting objectives, and evaluating performance. Maintain accurate personnel records and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective relationships with all levels of the organization and the public, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Support innovative recruiting strategies, leveraging digital platforms for talent acquisition. Enhance systems for screening, hiring, and onboarding employees, including remote workers.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills of teams of 3 or more professionals required.
  • Proficiency in digital HR tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, HRIS, and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Education/Training:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in HR administration, including 5 years in supervisory roles.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
