Anesthesiology - Pediatrics Physician

Location: Pennsylvania Specialty: Pediatric Anesthesiology Employment Type: Part-Time Locum Tenens Position Overview: We are seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our expanding team in Pennsylvania. The role involves providing anesthesiology services for both pediatric (75%) and adult (25%) patients. The physician will handle solo cases and provide medical direction for CRNAs. This position offers flexible weekday scheduling with potential for weekend and overnight pager call. Job Details: * Need someone to cover weekdays, night call, and 24 hour beeper call on weekends. * Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM (flexible to 8-hour shifts if preferred) * On-Call: Pager call 5 PM - 7 AM for pediatrics only, with 24-hour weekend call available * Estimated Shifts/Month: 15 Types of Cases: * Pediatric Cases: NICU (no cardiac cases), orthopedic (no spine), ENT, general surgery, GI, MRI, and dental cases. * Adult Cases: General anesthesiology as needed to meet daily schedule requirements Provider Requirements: * Board Certification: Required in Pediatric Anesthesiology * Fellowship: Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship required * Experience: Minimum of 1 year * Licensure: Active Pennsylvania medical license * Certifications: ACLS, PALS * DEA License: Required * Requirements Notes: Must be willing to provide anesthesia for infants, children, and adults.
