Shifts: 24-hour in-house shifts Shifts per Month: 15-18 shifts (including weekends and holidays) Facility Details: * Practice Setting: OBGYN-Family Life Center-Labor and Delivery, Mercy Hospital ED and OR Coverage * Beds: 16 beds (6 labor/10 postpartum) * Number of Physicians: 4 * Number of APPs: 10 * Onsite: Lab, Ultrasound, Full complement of supplies, RN, CNM s, 24-hour Peds, Anesthesia, and Surgical PA s * Documentation System/EMR: Meditech * Trauma Level: Community-based hospital, no trauma designation Practice Focus: * Low Risk Pregnancy: 100% * High Risk Pregnancy: 0% * GYN: 15% (GYN emergency coverage only) * C-Section Rate: 25% * Average Nursery Admissions Per Day: 2 * Nursery Level: Level One Nursery Required Procedures: * Obstetrics: Low Risk Pregnancy, FHR Interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds, Routine Delivery (Vaginal, Low Forceps), Decision-Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery (C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, VBAC s), Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations * Gynecology: D&C, Surgical Gynecology (Open, Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor), Tubal Ligation, Chromal Tubation, Operative/Major Procedures (Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA s) Submission Requirements: * Board Certified or BE within 5 years of residency (Required) * BLS Certification (Required) * Massachusetts License (In hand or in process with proof required by July at the latest) * DEA - Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear
