Glumac, a Tetra Tech Company, has an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Process Piping Engineering Lead to provide engineering design for Science and Technology, Healthcare, and Advanced Technology clients and to lead and grow a team of process engineers with a focus on technical excellence and team development.The Process Engineer will be responsible for the design of systems such as compressed air, vacuum systems, ultrapure/high purity water systems, bulk, and specialty gas storage and distribution systems, solvent/acid/hazardous wastewater collection and treatment systems. The best-suited person for this role will be someone who is able to apply thorough knowledge of process-focused design development, preparation of process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, process piping, and instrumentation systems, and the development of technical specifications for process equipment and datasheets. You will excel in this position if you have a process or process piping engineering background, and you are a Mechanical Engineer with focus in fluid flow or a Chemical Engineer. You must have prior experience with the engineering and design of process systems, and a design background in Advanced Technology, Pharma, Lab Research design, or Hospital design. The successful individual is experienced in working and coordinating with external stakeholders, establishing and maintaining bid documents, submittals, and responding to RFIs. Endeavoring to achieve client satisfaction through effective and positive business relations is also key to success. This position offers a hybrid-remote work environment.  You must be ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE U.S. We are proud to offer this flexible working environment that is conducive to how and where you want to work so you can achieve a great work/life balance.  We also provide unique opportunities for your individual growth, advancement, and leadership within the company (if that’s where you want to go).If you are passionate about process-focused design and leading and developing others, we invite you to come contribute to meaningful work at Glumac!Additional Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering is required. Knowledge and experience may include using software such as Navisworks, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and MS Office to perform design coordination tasks, and some level of proficiency in Building and Mechanical Codes, NFPA, and similar Standards.15+ years of previous design and construction management experience within the AEC industry with a consulting engineering or A/E firm experience directly managing design and construction projects in a semiconductor, microelectronics, or R&D engineering environment.Proven and consistent design management experience in Advanced Technology projects, such as clean rooms, Fabrication utility facilities, microelectronics, industrial, R&D/engineering labs, software or hardware labs.Experience leading a team.Salary Range: $170,000 - $190,000 The base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, actual role and responsibilities.
