**Telework Opportunity**DevOps EngineerPraxis Engineering has an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer to support Unified Engagement Environment. Efforts will focus on DevOps engineering of an expanding collaboration workflow platform that combines COTS, open-source, and custom microservices. Then this position is for you!What you will be doing:Responsibilities will include deploying applications; installing and configuring complex software; managing servers, networks, and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of security and performance; and troubleshooting issues and outages.Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 6-8 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.What you will need:· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree;· A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in DevOps engineering· Technical skills include experience with:o Linuxo AWS, MASH, and VMso Relational Databases (Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL)o Networking, Firewalls, and Load Balancerso Terraform scripting and VM provisioningo Deployments of distributed web applicationso Docker, Docker Compose container technologyo Docker Swarmo Public Key InfrastructureDesired technical skills include experience with:· eVo, CoDE, and UWE environments· API Gateways· Elasticsearch / Logstash / Kibana (ELK) maintenance and configuration· Python scripting and development· Java / Spring Boot troubleshooting (error logs)· Kafka Message Broker· Hazelcast Memory Cache· Kubernetes· Zookeeper· Nginx Web Server· Ansible scripting· Monitoring and Alerting· Agile software development practices· Jira and ConfluenceClearance: Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role. Salary range:$121,739.00 - $247,262.00 (Annually)*Req ID-PRX 24-423*The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
