Trinity Health Residency is seeking an Assistant Program Director (APD) to join the team to support the well-being and professional development of the residents within the Trinity Health community. 

The APD is expected to work 80 clinical hours a month

Monthly stipend given for administrative duties

Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and implement policies and protocols for the emergency department per best practices and regulatory requirements.
Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the emergency residents.
Evaluate the performance of residents, identify areas for improvement, and provide feedback and training as needed.
Maintain a strong understanding of current medical research and trends in emergency medicine.

Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited institution and current board certification in emergency medicine.

A minimum of five years of experience in emergency medicine practice, with demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of medical professionals.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of emergency medicine best practices and regulations, with the ability to stay current with evolving practices and guidelines.
Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to interact effectively with patients and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Strong judgment reviewing potential candidate qualifications.
Must possess a valid medical license in the state of employment and be in good standing with all regulatory bodies.
