Warehouse Attendant and Driver Non CDL

Gustave A. Larson, Englewood, CO, United States

We here at the Gustave A Larson Company are looking our next team member to join us as a Driver (Non-CDL) / Warehouse Attendant at our NEW Denver South location (located in Dove Valley area) . What qualities are we looking for?

We are an HVAC/R wholesale distributor throughout the Midwest and the Mountain States. We thrive on being customer service oriented, being nimble, balancing multiple responsibilities, and developing positive relationships with our teams to work together to get the job done.

We need people who are:
  • Have Attention to Detail with Driving- You will assist the warehouse manager in the operation of the daily deliveries of product around the local area. CDL is not required, but is appreciated. Experience driving Box Trucks and more, with the expectations of assisting in the load and unload of these trucks at both the warehouse and to our customers.
  • Warehouse Duties Include: Operating Forklifts (sit down, Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, etc), pulling product for Will Calls, organizing truck loads to their proper locations when trucks are received, using RF scanning technology for locating/picking product, and stocking small parts as needed.
  • Customer Focused - we are passionate about serving all of our customers, including dealers, business owners and large HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration) companies and consolidators. We meet customers' needs by delivering on our promises at the Counter in our locations. We do this by being present and in person with our customers and by pulling and fulfilling orders quickly and correctly.
  • Positive Attitude, Stellar Attendance Record - We work as a team and that means we show up as a team each day, on-time. We don't have patience for excuses or poor attendance. If you are consistent and reliable you are a valued member of our team.
  • Work Safe, Willing to Grow - A great safety record is essential to our team - you do this by following the correct processes and ensuring you are focused at the tasks at hand and not distracted. Load and unload trucks and trailers to maximize space and ensure safety without damage to products
  • Like a great work schedule - We are consistently a M - F schedule, holidays and weekends off*
We operate with these three ideas in mind:
  • Team Spirit - Above all, we operate in a team environment and therefore holding a true team spirit of cooperation and problem solving is a must. We coordinate our sales efforts with our warehouse, counter sales, and inside sales teams.
  • Sense of Urgency - our customers come first, both internal and external. That's part of the team spirit, to operate and react quickly. We are proactive and self-motivated.
  • We learn & understand the entire business - part of our training program involves learning and understanding from the beginning how our business operates - you will spend time initially learning the warehouse systems and forklifts, but also learn what we expect from customer service, wills calls, and supporting the entire branch organization so you have a solid foundation in your role.
Candidates should have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
