Production Assembler

You will perform assembly and production tasks as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Responsibilities: Work with a team to assemble entire products or components Rotate through tasks for specific production processes Conduct quality inspections on products and parts Prepare finished products for shipment Maintain a clean and orderly work area Strip wire insulation Read and interprets aids, manufacturing documents, and wiring diagrams Verify Bill of Materials Component part preparation Soldering fine wire Solder touch-up Build/work on cables and harnesses Build boards and chassis frames. Interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams Support quality and production objectives Operate over-molding machine Work under a microscope Qualifications: Six months experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields but will train a motivated candidate. Ability to perform hand soldering and rework on fine wire often under a microscope Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment Ability to handle physical workload Ability to work well in teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Hand/Eye coordination to work under microscope Ability to see/read serial numbers and codes on small electronic components. Ability to follow instructions Desire to learn new tasks and skills Polhemus is looking for a person that is motivated and willing to learn. We will provide training to the right person.
