Are you passionate about providing bilingual mental health services to children and their families? We are too, and we are hiring a Bilingual Mental Health Therapist!
The Bilingual Mental Health Therapist collaborates with agency staff, caregivers, school leadership, professionals and interested parties to formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans to help children receiving mental health services maintain their academic, social and emotional needs. The Therapist provides therapeutic, case management and consultation services for a caseload of children and families. Additionally, the Therapist coordinates services at the school site and supports colleagues in including students successfully in diverse settings by providing coaching, modeling and development opportunities.
Seneca supports clinicians towards licensure and beyond. We provide individual and group supervision, regular clinical case conferences, and licensure and renewal courses led by field experts. Expenses such as outside trainings or licensure fees can be mitigated though your clinical training stipend, and you will receive a $4000 salary increase upon getting licensed. ABOUT ALL-IN SOCAL
The All-In! So Cal program serves youth and families referred by their local school district. The team consist of behavioral interventionists, therapists, and parent partners. Together, the team provides unconditional support to children whose academics are impacted by their mental health.

Responsibilities
- Provides effective community based individual, group, and family therapy.
- Works effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to implement academic, behavioral, and therapeutic services for students in need of intervention.
- Administers communication, coordination and linkage functions with the school district personnel.
- Provides crisis intervention with clients as needed.
- Collaborates with agency staff, caregivers, other professionals and interested parties to formulate and implement individual client treatment plans, behavioral programs and interventions.
- Completes and submits documentation in accordance with All-In! So Cal program, agency guidelines and standards as required.
- Informs designated personnel of client complaints and follows established reporting procedures.
- Collaborates with caregivers, school personnel, Supervisors and Mental Health Director to resolve significant incidents involving clients.
- Acts as a resource for caregivers, school personnel and other interested parties to assess and respond to client’s needs.
- In order to provide continuity of care, collaborates with other community-based providers of service, which may include public or private schools, Regional Center, community-based mental health providers, private physicians, etc.
- Meets clinical and administrative standards established by the agency, accrediting bodies (Joint Commission) and contracting school districts.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling or other Behavioral Sciences.
- Must maintain current licensure or be registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an ASW or MFT.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Previous clinical experience working with children and families.
- Maintain a criminal record and a Child Abuse Index clearance and agency auto insurance eligibility.

Valid CA driver’s license and insurable under Seneca Family of Agencies insurance policy.

Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday - Friday; Variable hours: 10am-6:30pm.
- Hybrid (someones remote, sometimes onsite).
Benefits
- Starting at $75,250 to $89,250 per year.
- Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.
