General Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role, candidates will obtain a good understanding of MN asbestos, lead, and industrial hygiene regulations and have interest in becoming an expert in this field. We work with large and small commercial clients, oil and gas companies, local governments, as well as health care and educational institutes where you will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships by delivering responsive and resourceful solutions.

General Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role, candidates will obtain a good understanding of MN asbestos, lead, and industrial hygiene regulations and have interest in becoming an expert in this field. We work with large and small commercial clients, oil and gas companies, local governments, as well as health care and educational institutes where you will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships by delivering responsive and resourceful solutions.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Sample suspect asbestos-containing building materials in accordance with AHERA guidelines and perform visual inspections for asbestos-containing material during site inspections
- Perform oversight and air monitoring during asbestos abatement projects.
- Under the direction of a staff professional, performs complex field tasks and/or special inspections as required
- Assist with industrial hygiene tasks such as mold inspections, lead-based paint sampling, and noise monitoring
- Liaise with the analytical laboratory for coordination and results of collected samples
- Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related science field and a minimum of 3 years' related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 7 years' related experience.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Certification in field of expertise.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
