A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT MANAGER
In this project management role, you are responsible for overseeing engineering projects from purchase orders through final acceptance. You're accountable for ensuring the quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness of the project to achieve the defined goals. With your excellent communication skills, you act as the main point of contact for all project needs and schedule and lead all Buhler Project Management meetings. Working closely with department managers, you ensure the best possible flow.
You take care of project status reporting, maintaining project master files, and managing project change through CAF, ECR, and NCR. To ensure continuous improvement, you lead "Project After Action Reviews" (PAAR). As international and domestic travel may be required, you have the opportunity to experience new cultures and develop your skills on a global scale. With the potential for up to 25% travel, this is an exciting opportunity for you to make a significant impact and grow your career with Buhler!
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A PROJECT MANAGER?
An understanding of die-casting machinery specifications, automation, and die-casting processes is preferred but not required. Having a PMP certification and German language skills would be a plus. If this sounds like you, this may be the perfect project management position for you!

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A PROJECT MANAGER?
- 4-year Engineering degree OR other training experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience managing a work group
- Ability to manage customer relations
- Highly developed computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
