Network Engineer - DevOps L3 ILMR - TS/SCI Poly required

The ideal candidate will have at least twelve (12) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps. Recent experience within the last three years: Kubernetes, using containerization and cluster orchestration. Be available for 24/7 call-in support for operational system critical discrepancies. Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+).

Experience with:

• Performing network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks
• LAN/CAN/WAN administration
• Experience with both Arista and Cisco network devices
• Configuring and optimizing the network to connect various front-end and back-end components
• Designing solutions, integrating, configuring, deploying, testing and providing ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices

The Network Engineer performs network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks. Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents. Performs general LAN/CAN/WAN administration. Schedules conversions and cutovers. Coordinates with all responsible users and sites to resolve network or system incidents. Translates business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice and Video) requirements, designs and orders. Performs engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives in support of strategic modernization efforts and telecommunications enhancement design for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures. Assists telecommunications end users, telecommunications operations personnel, and telecommunications strategic program management with network interfaces. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configuration of survey, collection, and geo-location systems and software to include prototypes, development, operational, test, and lab systems and products.

Required Skills: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science. May substitute four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. May substitute two years' experience with MS in Engineering or CS
