Frieght Dispatcher

Freight Dispatcher
Pay Rate: $18/ hr.
Location: Houston, TX 77049
Employement Type: Direct Hire

Responsibiities:
Will work closely with our overseas offices & owner operator/hot shot trucking companies
Must understand rate/quotes/billing
Familiar with Load Boards
Set up loads with load brokers and carriers
Provide customers LTL/Volume/Full Loads rates
Understand how to put a load together, provide customer with a quote
Responsible for reports to management
Other duties as assigned
Computer Savvy - with advanced computer skills
Must be available and willing to work Monday thru Friday, 9am to 5pm + some weekend work on rotation and afterhours when needed.
Dependable - attendance is very important, as well as being at work as expected
Qualifications / Requirements
At least 2 years experience in trucking/transportation industry
Must have load board and flatbed dispatching experience
