Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing business operations within a designated geographical area, developing and implementing strategies, and achieving sales targets. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the market to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities -

Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned territory.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. Address customer needs and resolve issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape. Provide insights and recommendations based on market data.

Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed sales goals.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales & technical representatives within the territory. Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance their performance and professional development.

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the customer base. Develop and execute plans to penetrate new markets and increase revenue.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews to senior management. Use data to make informed decisions and strategic adjustments.

Budget Management: Manage the territory budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.

Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

What will you need?

  • 5+ years of experience as a Territory Manager or similar leadership role preferably within the construction or garage door industry
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software OR Service Titan and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of the assigned territory's market, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Travel 40-60% within the territory as required with additional occasional travel for company meetings.
Physical Requirements
  • Light work - Able to lift up to 15 pounds of force.
  • Talking - expressing and exchanging ideas by means of spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Hearing - perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make fine discriminations in sound.
  • Visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; and expansive reading.
