About the Role
The Company is on the lookout for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Director to provide strategic direction and leadership for sales, revenue generation, and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead a dedicated team of three marketing managers, crafting and executing innovative marketing plans that align with the organization’s long-term goals. This pivotal role includes mentoring and evaluating team performance while managing budgets, analyzing sales data, and forecasting market trends.
The Director will maintain essential relationships with external partners including vendors, authors, and faculty, playing an instrumental role in the development of publishing services and resources. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years' experience in sales and marketing within the publishing sector, and at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. A strong comprehension of academic publishing, scholarly communication, and proven marketing strategies is essential.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational abilities. The capacity to juggle multiple projects, operate independently, and travel internationally is also crucial.
