Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for a data-driven, results-oriented Advanced Advertising Account Executive to join our Data Driven advertising sales team. This role focuses on leveraging WBD's powerful Data Driven solutions, which combine data insights and technological capabilities to target audiences effectively across digital and linear platforms. The Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key relationships with agency and client partners, and collaborating cross-functionally to optimize sales strategies and pitches.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the advanced TV and digital advertising ecosystem, the ability to apply data-driven solutions, and a passion for innovation in the advertising space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership: Serve as the primary sales contact for assigned agencies and clients, driving Data Driven revenue growth within the assigned book of business.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key agency and client stakeholders, serving as the expert on WBD's advanced advertising solutions.
  • Revenue Growth: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities and drive incremental revenue by promoting WBD's full suite of data-driven advertising products.
  • Product Knowledge: Present and educate clients on WBD's Data Driven offerings, tailoring go-to-market messaging based on industry trends, client feedback, and competitive analysis. Deep understanding of Data, Digital, and Linear ecosystems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales counterparts, portal sales teams, and cross-functional departments (operations, product, marketing, and finance) to ensure seamless delivery of advertising solutions and meet client expectations.
  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to ensure WBD remains a leader in the Data Driven advertising space.
  • RFPs and Pitches: Lead the response to RFPs and develop strategic proposals that align with client goals, leveraging data insights and case studies to create compelling solutions.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, including Sales Planners and Sales Service Executives, fostering their professional growth and contributing to the overall team's success.


Qualifications
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in advanced video (digital), programmatic and / or Data Driven TV advertising sales, with a proven ability to manage key accounts and drive revenue growth.
  • Data & Analytics: Strong familiarity with the application of data measurement and analytics in both linear and digital video environments, with experience working with data providers and clean room environments a plus.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to both internal and external stakeholders clearly and persuasively.
  • Team Player: A collaborative, resourceful, and enthusiastic team player, who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and is self-motivated to achieve goals.
  • Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the advanced advertising marketplace, including trends, challenges, and competitive dynamics.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $105,000.00 - $195,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
