The Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute seeks a director for its Section of Pediatric Neuroscience. The ideal candidate is a mid-career neurologist with clinical expertise in child neurology, demonstrated scholarship in clinically based or translational research, and managerial experience leading a professional group. The ideal candidate is committed to innovation to push the field of pediatric neuroscience forward. The candidate should have certification in Neurology with special qualification in Child Neurology.
The Section of Pediatric Neuroscience is comprised of a group of 9 neurologists and 1 pediatric neurosurgeon, practicing in the subspecialties of movement disorders, neuromuscular disease, neuroimmunology, cerebrovascular disease, genetics, mitochondrial disease, pain, and headache. The Section is active in the neurological care of hospitalized patients in our contiguous Children’s Hospital. The Section is invested in internally and externally funded research, innovation, high reliability, and continuous improvement.
