Responsibilities
In collaboration with the Chief of Neuro Radiation Oncology and faculty, assumes clinical responsibility for tasks performed within Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice. This includes but is not limited to: taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, performing appropriate procedures, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, establishing diagnosis and providecare and management for common conditions in Neuro Radiation Oncology adult patients. The NP may assist in the admission, transfer or discharge from Health Care System. Makes appropriate referrals to specialists and community agencies. Participates in quality assurance and quality improvement program. Works within multidisciplinaryteam to develop plan for the patient and ensure its execution.
- Attend Neuro Radiation Oncology chart round, team meetings, conferences and lectures as requested by and/ or approved by Chief of Neuro Radiation Oncology
- Sees patients and prepares appropriate notes for the EMR under the general supervision of Neuro Radiation Oncology attending physician

Qualifications
MINIMUM
Masters in Nursing, graduate of accredited program for NP
2 years, clinical experience in Oncology
REQUIRED:
1. Compact state or Arizona RN license (RN),
2. Arizona Advance Practice Nurse license (LIC APN),
3. National Certificate as an nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations:
a. CT NP-AACN,
b. CT NP-AANP,
c. CT NP-ANCC, or
d. CT NP-PNCB,
4. Valid DEA registration (DEA),
5. American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (CT ACLS), and
6. American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (CT CPRBLS)
And one of the following:
CT NP-AACN,
CT NP-AANP,
CT NP-ANCC, or
CT NP-PNCB
Pay Range
$51.55 - $86.79/hour
