We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and organized individual to join our team as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator or Manager located in our southern region (Granite City, Belleville, or Maryville, IL). This on-site role will be instrumental in coordinating marketing and communication efforts, ensuring seamless execution of strategies to promote our brand and engage with our audience. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, creative thinking, and a passion for marketing and communications.
Responsibilities
Content Creation: Develop compelling multimedia content, including graphics, videos, animations, and interactive presentation, to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Social Media and Digital Marketing: Lead the team in creating and managing all online internal and external digital content. Serve as the team’s social media and digital marketing expert. Including identifying and carrying out strategies to drive online traffic, develop and manage digital campaigns, and create strategy. Monitor and reporting on analytics.
Event Coordination: Plan and coordination of events, including community events and internal events. Assist with department ordering and budget management.
Work closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager and Director to ensure message and brand consistency as well as strategic plan integration.
Work closely with internal teams to evaluate, plan, and execute approved campaigns and ensure alignment of marketing efforts with business objectives and strategic plan.
Work with Marketing and Communications Director in public relations efforts.
Coordinate with external vendors such as printers, photographers, videographers, and graphic designers as needed.
Promote Chestnut’s culture of customer service excellence through the adherence to Chestnut’s behavioral standards for customer service.
Maintain and project confidentiality and security of all organizational information gained while performing job responsibilities including, but not limited to, financial and client information.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in multimedia design, graphic design, communications, public relations, digital media, broadcasting, journalism, or a related field.
Minimum of three years post-degree field experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design software and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Create Suite); Microsoft Office; video and photography experience preferred.
Deep understanding of current trends and best practices across multimedia design, digital marketing, and social media.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, detail-oriented, analytical, and multitasking skills.
Experience in health care or related industries is considered a plus.
Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and be insurable.
