Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field
  • 5+ years of experience in ETL/ELT methodology
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Python.
  • Adept in modern web technologies and experience with at least one modern framework such as Angular, React, Vue, Svelte, etc. Currently we use mostly Angular, but have tools built in other frameworks as well.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
  • DevOps, CI/CD tools and professional experience with Git, including merging, rebasing, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Experience in Agile and working collaboratively on a team (XP, pair programming, organizational skills, and highly responsive)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders and non-technical business partners in a meaningful way.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.

You'll stand out if you have (nice to haves):

  • Experience with design tools like Figma.
  • Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and automation tools.
  • Experience with VBA for automating Excel.
  • Certifications in Azure or AWS are a plus.

The Value You Deliver

  • You highly value the success of the team as a whole.
  • You bring your common sense and problem-solving to bear in dealing with ambiguity.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (especially written)
  • You have a passion and curiosity to learn new technologies and business areas.
  • You look for opportunities to better yourself, the team, and every project you touch, not just fulfill a list of requirements.
  • Collaborative in your approach, actively giving to how work gets completed and continuously evaluating yourself and the team so we can improve and grow together.
  • You can act independently under general direction; you're a self-starter and are committed to doing the best job you can, even if no one is watching.
  • You're curious, thoughtful, organized, and thorough.
  • You have a passion for learning and trying new things; you like staying up to date with industries trends and standard methodologies.

When submitting your application, pick any 3 of the above "values" and tell us why they stood out to you and how you hold to those values (specific examples are fantastic!).
