Job Summary:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position will focus on building strong relationships within the organization and supports HR strategies that align with business needs. The role will focus on talent management, employee engagement/relations and general day-to-day HR operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, fostering open communication and addressing employee concerns.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance for `line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Guides Managers through the annual performance management cycle, goal setting, and development plans
  • Work cross-functionally to drive HR initiatives and programs that support company culture and strategic goals.
  • Identifies training needs and develops training programs to ensure success. Follows up ensure training objectives are met.
  • Participate in and promote HR initiatives focused on employee engagement, retention, and organizational development.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts during peak hiring and/or as needed.
  • Manages any federal or state regulatory requirements i.e. EEO-1 reporting, ACA, 401k Audit, etc.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a mid-size organization
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including HR operations, recruitment, compensation practices, training programming, employee engagement/relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred
