The Sr. Director is responsible for the management of operational programs and services, financial oversight, contract management daily coordination of human resources management, fiscal accountability, productivity, and regulatory compliance of the assigned departments. They will support the strategy, planning, and execution of strategic initiatives that will impact the business unit and the organization. The Sr. Director will lead a team of facilities professionals, fostering a collaborative and results driven work environment. The Sr Director will be responsible for managing vendor relations and agreements. As the system grows, the Sr Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring the hospitals facilities remain at the forefront of functionality, safety, and efficiency. Additionally, the Sr Director will ensure the preservation of all PIH Health facilities in the most cost-effective manner. Required SkillsExperience overseeing and maintaining system grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure that the spaces are functional for employeesHands on experience of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, water systems and compressed gasesAble to successfully manage an experienced team as well as train entry-level personnel.Comfortable writing department operational/maintenance policies and procedures. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness.Self-motivated, high-energy level and a positive outlook coupled with a can-do attitude and a willingness to do what it takes to achieve personal and organizational goals and overcome obstaclesKnowledge of local building codes and regulationsExperience managing facility budgets and expensesRequired ExperienceRequired:Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field7 years minimum experience in construction project management, including oversight of contractors and subcontractors, and common construction contracting methods and procedures.Minimum five years’ experience in real estate, facility design, plant engineering, site planning, code requirements, and safety standards.Preferred:Master’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field Professional license or certifications (Professional Engineer, Certified Construction Manager).California Hospital Facilities Management experienceContractor's license for the state of CAMinimum Salary$144,206.40Maximum Salary$237,931.20
