The Microsoft Bing Places team uses mapping, location, geospatial knowledge, and advanced AI to create innovative experiences for people and businesses around the globe. We partner closely with internal product groups like Bing, Ads, Azure, Office, Teams, Windows, Dynamics, and LinkedIn, and we power the Azure Maps APIs offered to external enterprise developers. We are continually developing a deeper understanding of the challenges our partners and customers are facing and delivering solutions that directly address their needs.Creating a great mapping products requires great data. As a Principal Product Manager on the Maps Data Team, you will work closely with partner teams to understand their geospatial data requirements, develop and execute end-to-end plans to deliver value to our customers, and evaluate and prioritize projects to align with larger organization strategies and areas we can have the biggest impact. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.3+ years of experience defining and evangelizing business impact, success criteria, and performance metrics.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.Geospatial industry experience and domain knowledge.Strong data analysis skills and experience defining quality metrics.Experience building a product roadmap for system infrastructure supporting multiple customers.Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
