Job Summary:
The Quote Coordinator is responsible for the Unigen quotation process, preparation, documentation, reporting, and coordination of quotes. This position reports to the Quotation Manager and is located at Unigen Headquarters in Newark, CA.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
1. Review, analyze and verify RFQ based on customer instructions, specifications, drawing and technical data
Other duties and responsibilities related to Quote Analyst function, as assigned

Job Summary:
The Quote Coordinator is responsible for the Unigen quotation process, preparation, documentation, reporting, and coordination of quotes. This position reports to the Quotation Manager and is located at Unigen Headquarters in Newark, CA.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
1. Review, analyze and verify RFQ based on customer instructions, specifications, drawing and technical data
- Review customer package and address any issues, discrepancies, and missing information
- Verify bill of materials (BOM), Gerber, and product drawing files for accuracy and completeness
- Register new request for quotation (RFQ) number
- Define customer needs and match customer requirements with established quotation guidelines
- Prepare and coordinate Request for Quotations (RFQs) for services (PCBA, Box
- Build, Test, Repair/Rework, etc.) based on quote requirements received from customers
- Calculate process, labor, NRE (Non-recurring engineering cost), and material cost and roll up the final quote:
- Identify the product's BOM component category and categorize components accordingly
- Identify any special process requirement and communicate with the engineering and management
- Generate process and labor costs using a labor template
- Generate process/test NRE cost using the labor template macro file and update the NRE cost with a markup price
- Review and finalize material cost BOM, material attrition, material scrap cost, and material markup (MMU%)
- Roll up the final quote and Profit/Loss template for review and approval
- Analyze quotations for content in addition to preparing a complete cost analysis
- Prepare Briefing packages for management review and approval of the proposal
- Submit quote package/briefing for final approval from management before forwarding to PM/sales to review with the customer
- Support PM/sales to review the quotation with the customer
- Interface with the Program Manager and/or Sales and customer to resolve issues; support PM/sales to review the quotation with the customer
- Prepare, maintain, and review quotation labor cost template to get an accurate estimation and check for calculation error, higher cost process, and new customer labor rate
- Provide Weekly and Quarterly win/loss/pending analysis reports to management for review
- Determine RFQ priorities and deliver timely customer quotations

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, or related).
- 2 years of experience in the EMS or contract manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of electronic manufacturing processes and terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in Supply Chain, Program Management and Engineering.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in quote preparation.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite).
