Factory is seeking a seasoned Head of Sales to spearhead our efforts in engaging with large-scale clients and securing our position as a leader in AI-driven software development solutions.
What you will do and achieve:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the enterprise market, promoting Factory's suite of Droids as essential tools for enhancing software development processes.
- Lead, expand, and mentor our sales team, instilling best practices for enterprise sales and fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and positioning Factory as a strategic partner in addressing their software development challenges.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, crafting tailored pitches, and negotiating complex deals with large organizations.
- Collaborate closely with the product, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure our product offerings and sales strategies align with market demands and client expectations.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, adapting strategies as necessary to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- 7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within the technology sector, with a proven track record in enterprise sales and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Deep expertise in selling B2B SaaS or developer tools to large organizations, with an ability to navigate complex sales cycles and negotiate high-value contracts.
- Exceptional leadership qualities, with experience in hiring, training, and motivating sales professionals to achieve peak performance.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and the emerging role of AI in software engineering, enabling credible and informed conversations with technical decision-makers.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of developing innovative approaches to penetrate new markets and secure key accounts.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for building long-term relationships with a diverse range of clients from technical and non-technical backgrounds.

- The team goes into the office 5 days a week in San Francisco (walking distance to Caltrain).
