HRIS
- Support the field team with HRIS data entry for transactions such as new hires, position and status changes to include verification of I-9 documentation
- Ensure HRIS checklist are completed and communicate with field team members when additional information is needed
- Administer the approval process for employee life-cycle transactions
- Process HR transactions in the HRIS, Wurk and Sharepoint
- Perform personnel file audits to ensure all required team members are added are termed as appropriate.
- Train new HR Team Members on the different HR systems.
- Maintain data in the HRIS systems with frequent audits.
- Assist with HRIS projects as needed to include producing state requested reporting to management.
- Support new team members and management with Wurk, Email and systems requests or problem solving for those who need additional support.
- Conduct training sessions in person or virtually, using effective instructional techniques to engage participants.
- Assign training to new hires through Mineral training system
- Ensure employees complete required compliance training through training system, such as workplace safety, harassment prevention, and other legally mandated programs.
- Keep up to date with regulatory requirements to maintain training programs that comply with local, state, and federal laws.
- Providing guidance and education on HR-related inquiries to help employees thrive across the employee lifecycle while ensuring that communication is aligned with the practices established by the company.
- Conducting workplace investigations and effectively managing employee relations issues with field leadership. Providing conflict resolution support to leadership and team members.
- Managing worker's compensation claims (return to work/modified duty). This includes educating, communicating, designating leave types based on federal and/or state laws, sending paperwork, obtaining reports, and performing other relevant tasks.
- Handles all ADA requests to include intake and recommends accommodation with the guidance of the National Director of HR.
- Collaborating and supporting all efforts in the deployment of HR initiatives and engagement programs that fosters a positive work environment.
- Performing other HR tasks to support the day-to-day operations
- Assist with recruitment efforts by collaborating with location leadership and HR recruiting to discuss job openings, interviews, and evaluating candidate applications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our HRIS system, including employee data and personnel files.
- Provide support with employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Assist with employee relations by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Work with field HR to ensure all PAF forms are completed appropriated and submitted timely
- Oversee effective orientation, onboarding & training to drive engagement and retention.
- Ensures and facilitates effective communication to all team members.
- Assists with creating and implementing disciplinary action, performance improvement initiatives and terminations.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
- 4 + years of experience in human resources
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
- Effective at capturing and synthesizing information from multiple parties
- Solid and hands-on understanding of human resources practices to include leave of absence laws (FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD).
- Ability to handle sensitive and highly personal information daily and maintain confidentiality in a mature and insightful manner.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (WURK preferred)
