Clinical Child Psychologist for our Depression and Anxiety in Youth (DAY) Clinic: We are recruiting a psychologist with expertise in the assessment and treatment of child and adolescent depression and anxiety disorders. This role will include diagnostic assessment, delivery of evidence-based interventions, and multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatry, advanced practice nursing professionals, and clinical social workers.
We are recruiting faculty at all levels of experience and opportunities exist for program development and leadership.
This position includes teaching in the hospital’s pediatric medical and psychology training programs and protected academic time for service, research, and other scholarly activities. Faculty mentoring is available for those interested in clinical scholarship (e.g., program evaluation, quality improvement initiatives). This position carries an academic appointment at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, with rank commensurate to qualifications and experience.
Applicants for the clinical psychology positions must have:
- A PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology, pediatric psychology, or clinical child psychology
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship with clinical child and adolescent psychology as a major area of study
- Relevant experience
- Eligibility for licensure in Missouri and Kansas
